Hines Designs has built up nearly two decades of community engagement in the performing arts sector, improving social inclusion and wellbeing of people, by delivering over 150 community group outings to cultural events to inspire, educate and celebrate. Hines Designs has produced more opportunities for groups to experience the wonder of the performing arts, creating over 3,000 positive impacts through attendance at live theatre, concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events. A real sense of belonging and connection has been nurtured, to enhance both physical and mental wellbeing, by interacting and bonding with each other and the wider community, whilst engaging with high quality artistic output. This has been even more important as we emerged from the pandemic and beyond. Hines Designs has a solid track record of collaborating with venues and organisations to develop accessible group schemes, to attract more diverse audiences and visitors, with the aim of moving towards current national levels of ethnic diversity, as well as contributing to the resilience of attendees, venues and organisations.
